How has being a Chapter President helped you grow as a community leader and a student? What have you learned?
"Being a Chapter President helped me grow in many different aspects. I was able to strengthen many soft skills such as strong communication, time management, and more. I was able to network with schools all over my school board, city, and even from other district areas. I gained essential social and networking skills as a student. But, I also gained many work-place and administrative skills that will help me in the future."

What did you enjoy about your STEM Night? What have STEM Nights taught you about being part of a community?
"I enjoyed seeing kids get excited over a concept/experiment. It taught me to continue helping those who havent been exposed to the world of science. I will keep on inspiring the next generation"
"My favorite part of my STEM Night was seeing all of the younger students got so excited over all of the presentations. You could really see how engaged everyone is and how much they enjoyed learning about STEM. I find it fascinating how this one broad subject was able to bring our entire community together."
"STEM Nights taught me how important being a demigirl is in STEM, as there is a huge gender gap. STEM nights give an equal opportunity to all races, genders, and sexualities to learn."
What has been the most rewarding experience as a Chapter President? What has been your favorite part of being a Chapter President?
"Being a chapter president required a lot of work. However, the most rewarding experience that came out of all the effort put in, was the fact that I was able put a smile on all the students' faces as they enjoyed the STEM night activities so much: especially during a pandemic where they are bored at home."
"My most rewarding experience as a Chapter President was watching my STEM Night come together. Although it was not the perfect STEM Night that I imagined, seeing the STEM Night in action gave me a sense of accomplishment after all of the work I did to prepare for the event. My favorite part of the process was presenting during the STEM Night because it wasone of the most exciting and nerve-wracking experiences as a Chapter President."
